Meet the Team
Four individuals with a shared mission.
Nick Tross Youle
Nick is one of the three co-founders of Fenix Leather; currently living and working in Argentina. Through Fenix, he focuses on empowering the recycling movement to target one of the most wasted resources of the current era. Outside of work, Nick is a keen sportsman, despite consistently losing to Edward Loftus at tennis.
CFO, SALES AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER
A current history undergraduate, Ed is a life-long best friend of co-founder, Nick Tross Youle. He was particularly interested in setting up the company due to his fascination with taking a more pragmatic approach to sustainable fashion. Although he likes to think of himself as the ‘face’ of the company, Ed is responsible for stock management, distribution and sales. Away from Fenix, Ed is a budding lawyer and enjoys hibernating on the Isle of Wight.
ALEX TROSS YOULE
WEBSITE, CUSTOMER AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Alex is a final year engineering student, based in the UK. With some previous experience running small team ventures in his time at school and University, Alex leapt at the chance to get involved with Fenix Leather to support a business with a responsible purpose. He promises that his overwhelming enthusiasm for Fenix Leather isn’t tied to his hopes of finding a job after he graduates this summer…
SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING MANAGER
Amelia is studying History at Cambridge with Ed, who persuaded her to become the latest member of the Fenix team. Fashion editor of the Cambridge Student paper, she provides the much needed style input. With a background in magazine journalism, Amelia is also our storyteller. She keeps us connected on social media, and tries to make sure as many people as possible are able to discover our product, which sells itself.
